Reading promotion: Year 8 RIBIT lessons (once a fortnight to fit in with English teachers timetable), Year 9 Read around the World (predominantly in the last 2 weeks of each term), Bookclub, Readers Cup, Literature flyers to complement curriculum areas

Information Literacy: Years 8  have 9 timetabled lessons in Term 1, Years 9-12 as required with individual departments at the beginning of their research lessons
