What is it? When does it happen?
Delegates are encouraged to bring an item from their own country which is auctioned with great frivolity during the Conference Dinner. Think about bringing something very unique, an item that someone would really like to take back home in their suitcase. Consider weight, shape, travel customs and quarantine information. It would be a shame to bring something that is not acceptable for the Australian customs regulations and for taking this home to your country. See Australian customs and quarantine website.
What is it? When does it happen?
Delegates are encouraged to bring an item from their own country which is put on display throughout the conference in a special area designated to allow all delegates to view and put an offer on an item of choice. There will be a sheet of paper for each item and you can enter your name and your offer throughout the conference. At certain times each day these items are considered “sold” and the lucky person is announced and added to the information auction board located where the items are on display.
