The Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF) is a non-profit, government funded organisation that aims to enrich young Australian’s lives through the production of engaging and educational media. Established in 1982, the ACTF is recognized as Australia’s premier producer of quality children’s television and creator of innovative educational resources for teaching.
All ACTF programs have been developed in close association with curriculum and child development experts so that, within their entertaining content and style, the best educational principles and learning opportunities are embedded.
The ACTF Education unit develops CD / DVD ROM teaching resources aligned to ACTF TV/ Film programs. These are packaged together and sold to schools. The Australian Children’s Television Foundation’s free on-line resources are available for teachers to download and use in their classroom.
