The conference committee is pleased to announce the keynote speakers for SLAQ 2012

Lyn Hay - Lecturer with the School of Information Studies, Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga (NSW, Australia) since 1994. Before this she worked as a teacher librarian in NSW central schools and high schools. She teaches across a number of areas including teacher librarianship, learning technologies and social networking, and information policy, and has been Course Coordinator of the Master of Applied Science (Teacher Librarianship) program since 2007.

Jenny Luca - Head of Information Services at Toorak College in Mt Eliza, Melbourne, Victoria. She is fascinated by Web 2.0 applications and their potential in educational settings. She launched herself headfirst into this world in 2008 and has found the experience to be transformative.

Boori Monty Pryor, Australian Children's Laureate, has worked in film, television, modeling, sport, music and theatre-in-education. He has written several award-winning books with Meme McDonald including Maybe Tomorrow, My Girragundji, The Binna Binna Man and Njunjul the Sun. His picture book collaboration with Jan Ormerod, Shake a Leg, won the Prime Minister's Literary Award for Children's Fiction in 2011. Boori's stories are about finding strength within to deal with the challenges without, and his skill is to create positive visions of the future for both Indigenous and all Australians.
