Invitation
The School Library Association of Queensland (SLAQ) invites you to sponsor and/or exhibit at the 2012 State Conference to be held at the Pullman’s Reef Casino in Cairns, Queensland. The venue is located in the centre of Cairns, convenient to many types of accommodation. The Conference will be an occasion to enjoy the beautiful winter weather in Far North Qld, from 2 July to 5 July 2011 and liaise with delegates who will include teacher-librarians, teachers, principals and tertiary educators from government, Catholic and independent schools.

To ensure maximum participation at the Conference, the event will be promoted through a variety of channels including:
Trade Exhibition
The trade exhibition will be held in a central location adjacent to the presentation rooms. Morning/afternoon teas and lunches will be served in the exhibition area to allow exhibitors to liaise with all delegates. Delegates will be encouraged with special promotions to view all exhibitions.

Cancellation Policy
If the sponsorship item or booth/floor space can be resold to another company, the company will receive a full refund of deposits paid, less administrative fees of 10% of the total sponsorship or exhibition rate. If not able to be resold, the company will be liable to pay the following fees:
Any refunds of deposits paid will be made after the Conference but no later than 31 December 2012. The company will not be entitled to any interest that the organiser may have derived from deposits made by the company. All bank charges, including senders and receiver’s charges, resulting from a refund related to cancellation of a sponsorship/exhibition items will be passed on to the sponsor/exhibitor.
